The magnificent auroral display of 10-11 May, 2024, at home in Angus.

Low cloud hugging Strathmore, the valley in Angus between the Sidlaw Hills and Grampians. The Grampians, Cairngorms, and Angus Glens are in the distance, hidden by the clouds. Earlier in the morning there had been dense fog. The sheltered Strathmore is an excellent area for growing soft fruit. 1 March 2024. Photograph used by the BBC as a background for their forecast.
